Ready, Set, Learn at Silver Creek Elementary

Silver Creek Elementary hosted an engaging Ready, Set, Learn event on Thursday, March 5, 2026, welcoming young children and their families for an hour of hands‑on exploration and play.

Children enjoyed a variety of learning stations, including imaginative play with pretend foods, creative crafts, building activities, and interactive materials. Families had the opportunity to connect with school staff, explore early learning resources, and participate together in activities designed to spark curiosity and support early development.

Ready, Set, Learn is a free, province-wide initiative offered by our District to support families with children ages three to five. The program provides playful early learning experiences, helps children become familiar with school environments, and connects families with community partners who support a positive and confident transition into kindergarten.
